The twelfth season run will presumably take place at very high temperatures. Drivers and engineers love the challenges of the youngest Formel-1-Strecke in the Grand Prix calendar. It offers a fastidious layout, which connects slow circling, long straight lines and changing turning radii - and naturally already today the legendary curve eight, one of the most difficult passages of the whole yearly.
The Istanbul park Circuit consisting of 14 curves is typical for the modern racing courses of the impact Bahrain or Shanghai. Exactly like these it exhibits an extremely long straight line, so that the terminal velocity of the Formel-1-Boliden ranks among the most important success factors. In the sense of an optimal round time the teams would actually drive with more drift, than they do it, but the possible time gained in the fast and intermediate curves because of the maximum speed lacking as Pyrrhussieg would prove. Starting from turn ten the pilots need much speed, in order to be able or their position on the straight line defend to overhaul opponents. As compromise select the teams a Setup with low to middle drift level.
